FC Lida

Belarusian First League, Belarus

Lida's Soviet-era predecessor Obuvshchik Lida won the Belarusian SSR championship four times in the 1980s, but the club has not played top-flight football in independent Belarus since 2000. Start in the second tier, end a 25-plus-year absence and turn old regional success into a first national title.
