Mighty Blackpool
Sierra Leone National Premier League, Sierra Leone
Founded in 1923, the club later adopted the Blackpool name during the Stanley Matthews era and became one of Sierra Leone’s dominant sides. Their last league title came in 2001. The name is brilliant, but the fallen-giant save behind it is even better.
