Sporting Cristal

Liga 1, Peru

Sporting Cristal reached the 1997 Libertadores final but lost 1-0 to Cruzeiro after a goalless first leg. No Peruvian club has won the competition. Take one of the country's biggest names back to that stage and finish the job the 1997 side couldn't.
