Wattenscheid 09

Oberliga Westfalen, Germany

Wattenscheid spent four straight seasons in the Bundesliga from 1990 to 1994 and developed players including the Altıntop brothers before financial collapse pushed the club down the pyramid. Bankruptcy struck again in 2019. Rebuild one of the Ruhr's forgotten clubs from the fifth tier and get them back above the reserve-team wilderness.
